the incongruous quarterly

IQ5 went up today. This is the Incongruous Quarterly issue dedicated to Companion Animals.
Six of my crow pieces titled I have woken up (the crows are in it from my upcoming book Milk Tooth Bane Bone. The book will be published in April 2013 with Leaf Press.
The editors for IQ5 are Lex Leslie (fiction editor) and Nikki Reimer (poetry editor). Each has written a long and thoughtful editor’s note.
It is great to share the poetry space with friends Elee Kraljii Gardiner and Taryn Hubbard.
Thank you Lex Leslie and Nikki Reimer for your work on this issue. I will now settle down with it and let it purr on my lap.
Check out the issue. Check out the journal and their guidelines. Got to love their tag line: publishing the unpublishable. But do not mistake that with sloppy or bad writing. Now define bad.
