One the poems that appears in the Mutanabbi Street Starts Here Anthology
is Poem of the Week at Split This Rock Poetry Festival blog. The blog of Split This Rock is the national network of socially engaged poets. The third festival, Split This Rock: Poems of Provocation & Witness, was March 22-25, 2012. Fourth festival, planned for March 27-30, 2014.
I took part in the 2012 Festival with three colleagues. The poem of the week submissions are now open to not just people who have taken part in one of the festivals. So consider submitting.
