distinguished poet award

Submissions for the month of April are now finally done. Even job applications are done. And one stage in the work on the new manuscript is complete. A pleasant surprise to receive the Distinguished Poet Award for 2014 from Writers International Network Canada Society.
A little excerpt from the letter:
“Your poetry is elegant, musical and visionary. Its delicate and deeply philosophical messages compel us to explore imagination, logic and metaphor beyond conventional boundaries. Your poetry touches our hearts and resonates with every person that hears your words.”
Thank you to the Board of Directors of Writers International Network (WIN) Canada and the selection committee for this award. I am honoured. June 14th is the celebration of the winners.
