Quill’s annual issue is out
Posted by Daniela Elza on Dec 07 2008
I think fondly of Quills Canadian Poetry Magazine because that was where my first officially published poem appeared when I started sending my work out (2004 I believe is when it launched) after we moved to Vancouver.
Thanks to Mary, last night I found out that one of my poems has won second place in the 4th Annual Byron’s Quill Award for Poetry. Thank you judges Marie Elyse St George, George McWhirter, and Russell Thornton, for selecting my poem. I am honored. Now, I am curious to find out which poem it was. So if anyone has seen or has the issue, please let me know.
The deadline for submitting to the 5th Annual Byron’s Quill Award is April 30th, 2009. For more details and for the winners from this and previous years you can click on link above.
