It snowed most of the day yesterday. Today it has been raining all day.
And I have to, have to, have to work on my thesis.

Yet, distractions are endless, abound. Good ones and bad ones.
Yesterday it was the crows and the snow, and a raven. The crows were making such a ruckus.

I almost caught the raven in mid air as he got tired of the pesky crows and decided to leave the nest he was so busy checking out. Instead I got this crow.

Then shovelled snow and helped my son pile enough snow for an igloo.

The Eastside Culture Crawl starts today and lasts through the weekend. And their logo is a crow in flight. Now that is distracting.

Today is also my daughter’s birthday. Happy Happy Happy Birthday.
How can I sit still when I am full of tiramisu?

Monday night I am reading at WordStorm Reading Series at the Red Martini Grill in Nanaimo, BC.

See what I mean…
Will spare you the to-do list, and all the places I am tempted to submit.

After the raven left. Balance was restored. All was calm again. Only the builders’ hammers and drills continued to echo in the courtyard.
