launching of “the weight of dew”

Posted by Daniela Elza on Mar 12 2012

Last night was the launch of the weight of dew in Vancouver. Over 50 of us packed into the back room of the Railway Club. It was joyful to see so many familiar faces. Here, the first few pics are in. The first one was taken on an iphone by Dethe. The four that follow were done by Frank Lee who videotaped and did screen captures in conditions of very poor lighting. I think that the graininess of the photos works well with the old pub setting.

Welcoming people and signing books in sepia.

Applause for the lovely introductions. Thank you to Aislinn Hunter for such a generous intro. How does one follow that.

What was said. What was read.

And some more…

Hanging out and eating, chatting and laughing. Still high. Thank you to all for coming out, in support of my book and Mother Tongue Publishing and making this launch such a success. Good times were had all around.
