an interview, and a short video

Yes, you might have guessed it has been busy busy busy. I cannot put one thing down before I have to run to the next thing with a deadline or waiting for me to happen. A few recent things to document here, since I know some of you are waiting for this.
Here is an interview CiTR radio did on their show Skald’s Hall. It is of two authors: myself and fellow poet and novelist Michelle Barker. The interview between the two of us is about an hour, my part begins about 24 min. into it and is about 30 min long. Click here to listen.
Also I had the pleasure recently to attend the Writers International 2nd Annual Literary Festival – Dr Asha Bhargava Memorial Awards. It was an all day event of community spirit, dance, poetry, and acceptance speeches. Here is the list of the people who were honoured including Bonnie Nish, the Executive Director of Pandora’s Collective. A day of crossing borders. I had the pleasure to read a couple of poems from the weight of dew. One for the dancers and one for the earth. It was so good to see about 70 people there. Thank you to the hosts and organizers.
Here is a video recording (courtesy of poet and photographer Janet Kvammen). Thank you Janet for the energy you bring and your continuous effort to document us. (Video is about 6 min.)
